“Couch,” she said, pulling off her gun and badge to drop them onto the desk. Then she ran at him.
Ethan caught her, as her legs went around his hips. Their mouths crashed together, and he let her invade.
Ethan simply felt. It was more than enough.
His wife swamped him with so many emotions. He could barely breathe.
This was raw, pure love. Why look at anyone else when he was complete? He wasn’t a fool.
There would never be another woman who could make him feel this way.
“Fast,” she muttered.
“Rough,” he replied.
“Hard,” she added.
“Yes!”
They fell to his big leather couch, and he struggled to pull her shirt off. The second it was free from her body, he dropped it to the floor. Ethan stared down at his wife.
She was lovely.
“My MILF.”
She snorted. “Always. I was waiting for you all those years. I was so alone, and then there was you. You’re the one who unlocked my heart.”
His heart skipped.
“I know, baby. I know.”
He attacked. His mouth left bite marks across her flesh as he tried to get enough of her.
There would never be enough.
He craved.
Wanted.
Needed.
Elizabeth would fill him up.
She moaned his name as his mouth found her one nipple through the lace of her bra.
He bit down, and she got wet.
“Pants,” she muttered.
He was well aware. His hands were already on her buckle, and he was working it open.
When he had his hands in her panties, he found her wet and ready. He let his fingers explore.
They both moaned.
“Ethan! Now! Stop screwing around!”
He wanted to laugh, but he was so hard and desperate that he was going to cum the second she touched him.
He was a sucker for this MILF.
Ethan yanked off her pants, and then pushed her legs apart as she was on her back on his couch.
He didn’t give any warning. He simply sank into the warm wet of her body.
Blackhawk moaned in pleasure.
Now this was Heaven.
If he died right then and there, he’d go a very happy and sexually content man.
Who needed a bucket list when you had a wife you craved every second of the day?
As he began moving, she met him stroke for punishing stroke. Ethan pounded himself into her in abandon, trying to drive out that demon.
He was thinking about what the detective had said.
It was bothering him.
Yes, it was before him, but she was his. From birth, Elizabeth was meant to be his wife. He’d drawn her picture at twelve. It sat in a frame behind him on the bookshelf.
She was his.
No one else’s.
Even though he shared her with Callen, his heart had found her first. This was his sweet Elizabeth.
“I love you,” she whispered, as he pounded into her body. “You’re the first.”
He heard her words. Grabbing her arms, he pinned her wrists above her head, as his body destroyed hers. The wild thrusts made her teeter on the edge.
“I’m going to cum,” she whispered.
“Fall!”
She obeyed.
As her whole body tumbled, she felt him pull out of her. Then her world spun, as Ethan bent her over the back of the couch.
“I love you,” he hissed in her ear, as he drove himself back into the wetness. “I’ll die loving you.”
“Promise,” she said, as he took her. “Promise you’ll never leave.”
He couldn’t and wouldn’t leave her. She was the only thing holding him to the world.
She was his all.
“I swear.”
He could feel the end coming. Her body was still vibrating from the last orgasm, but she was close. He knew everything about her.
The way she moaned.
The way she gasped.
He knew his wife.
Pulling all the way out, he knew this would be his last stroke.
“Cum for me,” he said, slamming home.
She did.
She broke apart as his body buried itself in hers.
They came as one.
The whole world shifted, and Elizabeth found herself on the couch beside him. Ethan’s arms were wrapped around her. They were pressed against the leather.
He was breathing erratically.
“That’ll be two hundred bucks.”
He snorted. “Put it on my tab, Miss Kitty.”
She nuzzled his throat. “How come I get naked, and you get to stay dressed?” she asked.
“I paid. I get to decide.”
She was amused.
“Can I borrow your ride?”
“Who’s driving? You or Callen?”
“A girl scrapes the door pulling into the garage, and the guy acts like you busted out the windows and blew it up.”
He laughed. “Yep.”
“Callen.”
“I can’t watch. I have a meeting. I wish I could or I would love to be your backup.”
She heard it in his voice.
Ethan was unhappy that once more, work was getting in the way of his personal life.
“I’ll play Miss Kitty for you all alone, okay?”
That he could do.
Reaching into his pants, he pulled out his keys. “She’s in my parking spot. Don’t screw my brother in it. Some things are sacred.”
She snorted. “That sounds so wrong.”
“I know, but you get used to it.”
“My butt is getting chilly.”
“I can fix that if you insist.”
She nibbled on his collarbone. “Promises, promises, Director. You know I love when you take me from behind, you beast.”
Ethan was about to suggest doing it all over again when his intercom buzzed.
Crap.
The timing sucked.
“Director, your brother is here.”
“Tell him to come in.”
Elizabeth punched him.
They heard Callen key in the code. When he opened the door, he was laughing.
“Yeah, and that’s why I had Ginny buzz you.”
She flipped him off.
“Flip me off all you want,” he stated. “That is not an insult in a horny man’s world. I know what it means, and I accept.”
She snorted.
“I see I missed our pre-lunch romp.”
Ethan was zipping up his fly. “Yep. Maybe next time you’ll catch us.”
Callen picked up her panties and jeans. He tucked the panties in his pocket.
“I will hurt you if you think you’re keeping those.”
“I’m getting you ready for tonight’s performance, dirty girl,” he replied.
Ethan fist bumped him.
Elizabeth pulled on her jeans and grabbed her gun and badge. She knew there was no point arguing with them. They were going to have their fun.
She’d have hers later.
She dangled the keys in front of Callen. “I got the ride. It looks like someone was right, and someone was very wrong. Apparently, I know my husband better than you know your brother. Shame. Shame.”
He pulled out a twenty and handed it to her. “I should have specified no sex in the rules.”
She smiled. “You didn’t.”
“He’s easy.”
Ethan pointed at his brother. “Yeah, I’m the only one in the room who can be described by that word.”
She handed them over. “I’m not allowed to drive.”
Callen laughed.
Ethan headed over to his table, grabbed the checkered tablecloth, and spread it on the floor.
Elizabeth watched him. “Are we having a picnic, in your office, Director?” she asked.
He held out his hand to her. “I wanted to do something with my spouses. I don’t know
when I’ll be free tonight, so this felt like a good time for a date.”
She kissed him. “You’re so sweet.”
Callen stared at her. “Just the other night I took you to a dive motel, screwed your brains out, and slapped you on the ass before you came.”
She snorted. “I’m aware. I said sweet—not sleazy, Callen James. You have that cornered.”
Well, he did like to be the best at anything he did.
Elizabeth sat on the checkered cloth and waited as the men sat too. Ethan began unpacking their food.
He opened containers and handed them out.
“Fried chicken?” she said.
“Is that okay?” Ethan asked.
She grabbed him by the tie and kissed him. “Darlin’, you just spoke to the southern girl in me. I do declare that you’re sexy when you plan a picnic.”
Callen opened another container. “Watermelon,” he offered.
She speared a piece with her fork. “I am so glad to not be eating pizza. I’m fast food-ed out.”
He figured as much.
“So, you’re going to interview hookers?” he asked, placing a napkin on his lap.
“Yeah, the pimp, who used to be a CI, is going to let me talk, but that’s up to them. He thinks they’ll talk more if I’m all hookered up than flashing a badge.”
“Smart.”
Callen stared at him. “You’re not going to make a comment? Our woman is going to dress like Miss Kitty. That’s the hottest thing either of us has seen in…ever.”
Ethan laughed. “I just had sex on my couch. I think that was pretty hot.”
She kissed him on the cheek.
“Kiss ass. You know it’s hot.”
“Yeah, I know, but I’m on a date with our girl.”
She fed him some watermelon, and then followed it up with a soft kiss to the lips.
“You’re so sexy.”
He grinned. “See? There’s a time and a place, and this is NOT the place for hookers.”
She snorted.
Yes, he was thinking about Miss Kitty, and how hot his wife was going to be, but he was also thinking about busting his brother’s ass.
That was always fun.
“You’re my soul mate. I am glad you found me all those years ago,” she offered.
It made him think about what Gabe had told him earlier.
“You owe me a beer.”
She looked at him.
“What?” she asked. “Now? Where would I find a beer in the Hoover building?”
Ethan grabbed his remote on the desk and hit the button. Elizabeth’s casefile appeared.
“What are you doing with that?”
He told her.
“I had a visit from Detective Sheehan, and Captain Jefferson.”
“Oh boy.”
“Yeah, they wanted you pulled. Apparently, you slept your way to the top. I had to show them this,” he said, pulling up her commendations list.
Callen scanned it. “Holy shit, woman! How many commendations do you have?” he asked. “There have to be about eighteen on there. Wait! That’s the first page!”
“Yeah, well, I just toss them in a drawer. They don’t mean anything to me. I do it for the glory,” she said, laughing. “I got two or three a year until I left the FBI, and the last two Gabe gave me because the president made him. Blah, blah, blah. Then I lost Oracle, and that boat sailed.”
“I showed him this to prove I didn’t get you a single one. He came back with something interesting.”
“What?” she asked.
“You’re a hussy.”
She snorted. “I am. This romp should prove it.”
“I shut him down, but I have to warn you that Metro is going to be watching and gunning for you.”
Well, what was new?
“I still don’t get why I owe you a beer.”
He flipped to another page.
“That’s the profile from one of your cases. Does it look familiar?”
He let her read it.
“Yeah, I was working a hooker case and I needed the help of Gabe’s golden boy to profile it.”
Then she got it.
“Oh my God. You profiled that case for me too? I forgot about it until I just saw it.”
Callen didn’t get it.
“What?”
Ethan clued him in.
“Fourteen years ago, unbeknownst to me or her, we crossed paths again. Had I met her for that beer…?”
Elizabeth touched his cheek. “You would have stolen my heart then too.”
Callen pointed out one little thing.
“Yeah, and I wouldn’t have been around.”
Ethan had more.
“Actually, I learned something else,” he said, offering his wife a bite of his potato salad.
“What?”
“Remember when you were given that case?”
“Yeah, Gabe was going to give me some trip to a Rez to mediate. Instead, I got the serial killer case. It helped turn my career around. I saved my reputation.”
“I got the rez case.”
She stared at him.
Then he continued, “Callen, remember that one time I walked into the conference room in the Reservation Police office, and I saw you.”
“Yeah, and you flipped your shit on me, told me I was dead to you, and you were leaving?”
He hated that he’d done that to his brother. If he knew then what he knew now, he would have hugged the man, told him he forgave him, and they wouldn’t have lost so many years together.
He regretted it.
“You almost met Elizabeth that day. Had you, maybe I would be the one who was out of the picture.”
Callen stared at him.
He knew what it meant.
Elizabeth always told him she fell in love again the day she saw him, and that meant he could have been her husband on paper.
“Jesus,” muttered Elizabeth. “Fate is one hell of a bitch. We kept getting so damn close.”
“Yeah, we kept missing each other for years. You missed Callen too.”
“I would have found you,” she offered.
Callen agreed. “This was meant to be. We would have crossed paths again.”
“Would you have forgiven me and shared her?” Ethan asked. He really needed to know. It had been bothering him since he found out.
“Yes.”
There was no hesitation.
“I don’t know if I would have had the balls to love her at a distance,” Ethan admitted. “You were stronger than I could ever be, Callen.”
He hugged his brother. “It worked for a reason. The three of us are meant to be. We fit. If you pull one of us out of the equation, it doesn’t work.”
He was aware.
Ethan kissed Elizabeth. “I love you.”
Then he even kissed his brother. “I love you too. I know I wasn’t easy to love, and I hurt you, Callen. Thank you for all the times you tried and kept trying to get through to me.”
He smiled. “You’re my blood. What wouldn’t I do for you? You let me have this part of your life. You love my kids with all your heart. You’re part of my life, Ethan. I don’t know why my soul knows yours, but it’s part of Elizabeth too. We belong.”
She wiped her eyes.
“Are you crying?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
Callen knew why. The Chris thing was still bothering her, and she wanted to tell him.
They both did.
“I’m lucky to have you both. Thank you for being mine. Thank you for the beautiful life you both gave me. If I could go back in time and erase everything but you two, I would.”
The three of them sat there and held hands.
Ginny buzzed the office.
“Mr. B, your appointment is here. Should I have her wait?” she asked.
“She’ll wait. I’m almost done.”
Elizabeth stared at him. “Is she going to be like that director bait I handled earlier?”
Callen was intrigued. “What happened?”
She told him.
“Bad Director Blackhawk for having a pretty woman in your office. It looks like I’m her new favorite.”
He snorted. “I never noticed her attire.”
Elizabeth believed him.
“We should let you get back to work. Maybe you can work up a profile for me, handsome?” she asked.
“I can, baby. Be safe tonight. I don’t care about the car. Don’t get hurt,” he said, packing up their picnic.
“Then I can drive.”
“Yeah, no. I take it back. I care about the car too. Callen, take lots and lots of pictures. Send them. I’ll be ready.”
“Boys, you’re walking horn balls,” she said, kissing her one husband. “Please don’t change.”
He laughed. “It’ll never happen.”
She hoped not.
Heading out, she saw the woman in the office, and Callen covered her mouth and pulled her out.
“Don’t.”
She swore he was no fun.
Later, she’d get her revenge.

Gabe & Livy’s
Home
She was pacing.
In fact, she was making him insane. The more she moved back and forth, the more he was going to lose it. It was so bad that he’d begun counting her footsteps.
“Olivia, can you please stop.”
“She isn’t texting me back.”
“You punched her in the face, Livy. She’s probably extremely pissed off at you right now. Why don’t you make some tea, get changed, and chill?”
“Should I go over there?”
He laughed. “Not unless you want her to hand you your ass. I can guarantee you won’t get a second shot in at her.”
“I can hold my own.”
He closed his laptop. “Sit.”
She did.
“You cannot beat Elizabeth in a fist fight. She didn’t swing back. While you’re in excellent shape, she’s mean. She’s worked the streets while you were here being a mother, and she has almost two decades of badassery under her belt. I know you think you’re in the same league, but you’re not. The only reason you walked out of there is she has excellent control.”
“She didn’t hit me because of you.”
She had him there.
“And that.”
“I don’t know if she was ever my friend. When I came back, she told me to decide because I was going to get shot.”
“Livy, she was telling you that this isn’t a game. In the last five years, she’s been shot, stabbed, nearly run over, and almost blown up. This is a dangerous job, and it’s getting worse out there—not better.”
