Blood Shall Run (An FBI Romance Thriller Book 15) Page 13
He couldn’t think.
She was stroking his erection.
Cupping his balls.
Melting his flesh with hot openmouthed kisses.
He got it.
“More. I want more.”
She grinned. “I knew you’d see it my way.”
Crawling up his body, Elizabeth stood. When she dropped her panties, it was time to turn up the heat. When she placed herself over his face, Callen didn’t need to see to know that he was starving.
He dove in, driving her up and to the peak in seconds. With his mouth, he gave her so much pleasure as she ground against his eager tongue and lips.
This was heaven.
For both of them…
This was his personal Miss Kitty. As she came, he kept dining on her. Callen was addicted to the taste of her across his taste buds.
He could do this all day.
When he tried to push aside the blindfold to sneak a peek, she stood, punishing him.
“Oh, Callen James!”
He begged her to come back. “I’ll be good. God! I’ll be so good.”
Elizabeth figured when in New Orleans, have some fun. She grabbed one of the candles and upended it, dumping wax all over his chest.
Callen’s body bowed, and he moaned.
“Oh, Fuck. Yes! God, yes! More!”
Here was that pain he craved. Here it was, and he couldn’t forget that it was part of him.
As she continued to drip liquid wax down his body, she wondered how much pain he wanted. Instead of second guessing her plan, she let some splash against his erection.
Callen began cursing as his body bucked wildly on the bed. For a second, she thought she hurt him.
“If I get out, I’m going to bury my dick in you until you cum so many times,” he hissed.
“More?”
“Yes! Give me all you have, Miss Kitty.”
Elizabeth hit him with more wax. She actually watched his balls tighten. Callen was getting off, and if she pushed her luck, he was going to explode.
It was time to play with him.
Kneeling between his legs, she ran a finger across his erection. He was the hardest she’d ever seen him. With each caress, he moaned, struggling to get her to touch him. He was pulling at the handcuffs, trying to get free. The beast was at the surface, and Callen wanted everything she had to offer.
Reaching up, she pulled his silk tie from his face. Then she began blowing him. First, she flicked off the wax with the tip of her tongue.
She glanced up, and he was watching her.
His face was a mask of lust.
Callen was on the edge.
Her mouth covered him. Working his erection between her lips, his body vibrated in need. She wasn’t gentle.
She wasn’t careful.
If anything, brutal would be a better way to describe it.
Teeth scraped.
She nipped.
Callen moaned so loudly, that she was sure anyone on the street could hear him.
Elizabeth wanted him in her. She wanted that raw power buried between her legs. Licking up his body, Elizabeth positioned herself over his raging hard erection.
“Do it,” he hissed. “Jesus! Just do it. I want to be buried in you up to my balls.”
Slowly, she slid down his erection.
It was torture.
They both were breathing heavily.
Beads of sweat were across Callen’s brow and chest.
He was working to stay on the edge and not fall without the love of his life.
As Elizabeth fully engulfed him, she began moving. As she bounced, his body was taut like a wire.
“Oh, Callen,” she whispered. “You feel so damn good.”
And he did.
This was like coming home after a long day. It helped erase the horrors they waded through every moment of their lives. Because of him, and Ethan, she could go on and be the woman she was meant to be.
This was her peace.
As she began bouncing, Callen couldn’t take anymore. Bucking, he caught her off balance, and she tumbled. At the same time, he used the cuffs to pull himself up and flip until she was pinned beneath him.
He was now in control.
Callen might not have his hands, but he had more than enough to give his woman pleasure.
“My turn,” he muttered, beginning to slide in and out of her body.
Elizabeth ran her hands down his chest, flicking off more wax. It fell from his body to hers like white snowflakes. If Callen continued to focus on the tiny white pieces, he would cum right then and there.
As he worked his way in and out of her body, she whimpered beneath him.
“Harder.”
That was exactly what he wanted to hear. Using his weight as leverage, he slammed into her. Elizabeth slid up the bed until her head was repeatedly hitting the headboard with each thrust of his hips.
He should stop.
A part of him knew it was right.
Still…
This was Miss Kitty.
This was his personal slut.
Callen kept going, changing the angle, altering the speed, until Elizabeth was on the edge.
“Cum with me, Callen. Fall with me. I love you.”
The words sought his heart, and when they found it, they made him open for the only woman who would ever get him.
She was his all.
She was his true love.
A few more thrusts and he was ready. As he pinned her to the luxurious mattress with his larger, hard body, he knew what he wanted.
Her.
They came.
It was indeed the storm. It was wild, it stole their breaths, and both went under so deeply that it was a struggle to resurface. When finally he could speak, he opened his eyes. Callen was still buried in her body. She was watching him with so much love and tenderness.
“Elizabeth.”
“That was us, and I wouldn’t trade a second of that for anything in the world. You’re mine.”
A tear slipped down her cheek.
“And you’re forever mine, angel. I promise.”
And then they cuddled.

The French Quarter
Tuesday Night
He saw them around town. It was hard to miss them since the news had stories playing in a continual loop. BNN was featuring her face as a headline. She’d been out of the public spotlight for a few weeks, but she was back—there in New Orleans—chasing him.
It was odd that there were only two of the threesome investigating. Usually, Elizabeth Blackhawk had both men as backup. They were generally attached at the hip.
He wondered why he didn’t rate the threesome.
Then again, it didn’t matter.
What did matter was that they were in his town. They were trying to stop him. He already knew it was going to be brutal, but he was willing to do anything to stay alive.
This was for his survival.
Where they judged him a killer and wanted to stop him, he thought of himself as a nothing more than a person simply trying to survive. He needed the victims or it was his life on the line.
This wasn’t a sick game.
This wasn’t about killing for kicks.
This was about them or him.
He was fighting for his life. Without their livers, and now their blood, he wouldn’t survive. Why couldn’t they see that? Animals killed in the wild to preserve themselves, and that was exactly what he was doing.
No one missed the victims killed by the hands of others.
He borrowed them. They weren’t using their livers any longer. They didn’t need them to keep going.
So what was the big deal?
As for the ladies of the night…the odds weren’t in their favor. Chances were they were going to die anyway. Someone, a customer or pimp, would end their lives. He was just making it fast. He didn’t hurt them. They didn’t go in fear.
He had mercy,
and in this day and age, that was a rare thing.
Now his problems were magnified. The woman was in town, trying to find him.
Well, that meant only one thing.
He had to stop her. He didn’t have a choice. It was now a challenge.
On the line was so much to lose—his health versus hers. Well, he had news for Elizabeth Blackhawk. He was willing to play dirty.
So, it began.
“I’m sorry I have to hurt you, but I have no choice. Don’t take this personally. I’m sure you’re a really great person, but I can’t die. I want to live.”
So, in order to survive, he made his plans.

Fort Whitefox-Blackhawk
Virginia
When he woke, he wasn’t alone. Ethan wasn’t expecting to find another body in his bed, but he could feel someone moving against him. Opening his one eye, he found Cat cuddling against his side.
His heart flipped in his chest. She was so very precious to him. While not his biological child, or Elizabeth’s, they loved her very much.
“Morning, Kitty Cat,” he said, rolling over to look at her. “What are you doing?”
“I wanna read.”
She held a book in her hand. She was in her pretty pink pajamas and fuzzy slippers. She’d wanted them because they were just like momma’s.
Cat was emulating her mother, and both men were very glad for that. She would grow up loved, strong, and to be the best woman she could be.
That was priceless.
“You want me to read to you?” he asked, glancing over at his clock. Time was going to be tight. He should be getting dressed and ready for his meeting with POTUS.
“Dad has to go to work. How about we read later?” If he rushed, he could be home that afternoon before heading down to New Orleans.
Tears filled her green eyes. “I miss momma.”
That stopped his heart.
There was that flutter that always made him simultaneously happy and sad. Elizabeth was an amazing mother, and she loved her job. He wanted so much to give their children her full attention, but he couldn’t demand that from his wife.
This was her life too.
“I can read to you.”
“No, Dad. I wanna read.”
He grinned. Catherine was a precocious child. She was probably going to be the smartest of all of their children. She was independent, bossy, and didn’t like being told what to do by the boys.
Yeah, they had their hands full.
“Okay, read to me, Kitty Cat.”
She began, making up stories to go along with the pictures in her book. As she continued, Ethan saw his door open a little more, and there were two more kids joining them. EJ and CJ were up on the bed and listening to the story too.
His eyes filled with tears.
This was amazing.
This was what it was all about in life. That moment was something he wouldn’t trade away. Screw the president and his meeting. He was having an even more important meeting at the moment.
With his children.
Cat stopped. “You working today?”
He brushed some of her hair from her cheek. “I am, but it’s not important. I’d rather be here with you three.”
It was the truth.
What was a meeting with a president when he had three of their kids in his bed cuddling?
“I read more?”
“Yes, please do,” he offered. “I want to know what happens to the unicorn and the tiger.”
“He eats it,” stated CJ.
“No, he shoots it.”
Cat punched them both. “No! They become friends because they like each other.”
Ethan laughed, enjoying himself. “Let’s find out,” he offered, pointing at the book. Cat was her father’s child. She was a storyteller. There was that hope that Callen would see that Cat wasn’t anything like her mother. Desdemona may have given her the DNA, but they had the opportunity to mold it.
He made a promise to have her read more.
Picking up his phone, he recorded the three kids, so he could send them to his wife.
They had to see this.
It was the most beautiful thing he’d seen, other than their births. They were little people. They were miniature replicas of them.
Ethan Blackhawk was proud.
This was his greatest accomplishment in life, and no matter what, he would make sure they were safe.
Here was his greatest legacy.
Them.

Wednesday Morning
Bed & Breakfast
When she woke, Callen was gone.
It was probably a good thing because he’d jumped her a few times that night, and she didn’t doubt that he’d go for round four if provoked.
He’d been a man on fire.
And she loved every second of it.
Had she not known any better, Elizabeth would have thought he was trying to prove something. Instead, it was Callen being himself, and that was exactly what she wanted from him.
He was her wildness.
Now that the sex fest was over, she was a sweaty mess—not that there was anything wrong with that. She’d take that any day of the week over a dead body. There were times when she needed to let the men drive the bus. They patched her soul back up inside.
Callen did give her a gift.
Honestly, she’d earned it.
It was a damn good night.
Stretching, Elizabeth headed for the shower. She rather wished he were there to join her. While they had sex all over that room, they didn’t have the opportunity to get all soapy, and that was always fun.
Her body heated.
She was such a hussy, and she loved it.
Forcing herself to think about work and not the missing Native man, she worked out her plans for the day.
She needed to discuss the background searches that her agents had run. That would be her first stop. She could use some coffee to fuel up. As she rolled her shoulder, letting the heat soak into her body, she began planning everything else.
They really needed to visit that crime scene.
If the killer was using it, she wanted to figure out why. Was it a location of convenience?
Or did it have some hidden relevance that they’d yet to discover?
Yeah, that was going to be an important part of their day. Elizabeth mentally made it a priority, right after her agents, and a trip to the morgue.
As she finished with her shower, Elizabeth wrapped a towel around her body and went to find Callen. It was odd that he was still nowhere to be found.
In the sitting area of their suite, she saw something that made her heart skip.
On the table, there sat a dozen red roses. Beside them was a note.
‘Elizabeth,
You’re my every waking moment. You’re the dream I can only hope comes true. With you, I’m a whole man, without you I’m destined to wander aimlessly through life. Thank you for last night, and every night since we’ve come together. You’re more than my wife.
You’re my greatest desire.
Callen’
Her eyes filled with tears. “Oh, Callen James, you undo me.”
As she sniffed the flowers, there was the sound of a key in the door. When he walked in, he was in jeans, his customary white shirt, and his boots.
Apparently, he took their conversation to heart.
“Hey, beautiful. I hope you slept well,” he said, wiggling his eyebrows. “I grabbed us coffee, even though we’re meeting the agents in a little while.”
She didn’t speak.
How could she?
He’d stolen her heart.
“Are you okay?” Callen looked around, trying to figure out if she was happy or sad. Tears, and wife, generally were a bad thing, right?
Well, unless there were pregnancy hormones involved.
“You got me flowers.”
&nb
sp; “Well, yeah. Last night was pretty fantastic. They don’t really have a card for what went on in here. That’s more like porn in one of those backroom sex shops.”
She never loved him more than she did in that moment.
“Are you okay?”
Elizabeth crossed to him and took both coffees from his hands. Placing them on the table, she pulled him down for a kiss. When she was finished, she stared into his eyes. “I’m lucky to have you.”
He grinned. “How lucky?”
“Take me back to bed and let me show you.”
Well, Callen would never turn that down. He wasn’t a fool. Scooping her up, he nibbled on her neck. “Slow?” he asked.
“Yeah, Callen James, make it slow and make it count.”
That he could do.

Morgue
Six A.M
She was beyond beat. Merry wanted nothing more than to drag her body into a soft bed and close her eyes. As of that moment, her eyes were crossing from all the trace she had to process from the other crime scenes.
This was just another reminder why she hated taking over a case from local lab techs.
It wasn’t that it wasn’t done right.
No, it was to the minimum standard.
The only problem with that was it wasn’t to Elizabeth Blackhawk’s standard. She wanted the bar held high when it came to catching criminals. When they took something to court, there could be no wiggle room for the defense.
That came at a cost.
There were many nights of no sleep.
Like last night. While the city techs did an adequate job, she had to go back and finish what they stared. That meant redoing it, rechecking it, and verifying that it was right.
Nothing could be assumed.
They had been down that road before, and there was no way she was going to fall into that trap. Her boss liked the show run a specific way, and that’s how it was going to be.
